Living a Lie In a Supernatural World

Closet clergy in disguise…

Atheist and gay

I do not think it is necessary to believe that the same God who has given us our senses, reason, and intelligence wished us to abandon their use, giving us by some other means the information that we could gain through them.

Atheists In the Pulpit Article, The Gay Church Article

I had a pastor years ago who came out as having “gay tendencies” in his earlier years (whatever the hell that means). He was still ousted and shunned by most of our congregation. His life as a pastor was ruined. He was also married with two beautiful daughters who were in college. I never forgave our church for that. Even though he was intelligent, moral, loving, compassionate, and a great leader, our church decided to throw him out along with his virtuous qualities because of a couple of misconstrued passages in our antiquated Bible.

I love traveling with my wife all over the world. I enjoy the study of nutrition and cooking plant-based meals. I consider myself a Christian agnostic when it comes to god and religion. Namaste, Vic

  1. You can have all the good qualities that a christian claims to have and not be a christian. Why would a good human being, who happens to like the same sex, want to belong to such a religion that teaches in its bible that he is an abomination? They should leave that religion and find one that’s forgiving…or no religion at all.
